totally committed food safety.

For over 4 years we have had in place, an intensive food safety program to minimize the risk of any
food related illness.  Our food safety program includes:

  • Manufacturing under a HACCP program, audited by NSF Cook and Thurber to ensure that our
    GMP’s meet the highest processing standards for our industry.

  • Routine lab and facility testing of the finished product for ecoli and salmonella.

  • All our fresh chilies are cooked at 175 degrees for 5 minutes, well beyond the minimum
    standards for pasteurization.

  • Bi weekly third party field testing  on all tomato varieties for ecoli, ecoli 0157 and Salmonella.
    Our importers follow strict adherence to Good Agricultural Practices in all their fields and Good
    Manufacturing Practices in all packing shed facilities at our supplier’s distribution facilities here
    in the United States.

  • The fresh Cilantro and Onions being used in our Salsas are California grown and not originated
    in the areas that are affected by contamination
